Mosaic Community Church is located in Silver Spring, MD. We are a new church and part of the Presbyterian Church in American (PCA). Being connected to the PCA means that we are not just a stand-alone church. We have historic connections to a confessional tradition as well as geographic connections with a Presbytery and General Assembly. This means that local and regional churches doing work together to establish Christian community. Presbyterianism derives its name from each church being led by a group of elders (or presbyters). Similar to the system of government in the United States: leaders are elected by the members of a local church and serve together to make decisions.
